100 Women of the Hill Country came together to celebrate and support three local organizations making a significant impact in Boerne and the surrounding Texas Hill Country. As a group of women dedicated to giving back, we meet quarterly to connect with local charities and support causes that strengthen our community. Each quarter, we aim to donate $10,000 or more to a worthy cause. Our contributions strive to make a meaningful difference throughout Boerne and the Texas Hill Country. At this meeting, we were inspired by the incredible work of three local organizations serving our community.

Kinetic Kids

Kinetic Kids is dedicated to empowering children with special needs and their families through adaptive sports, fine arts, and educational programs. Serving communities in San Antonio, Castroville, Schertz, New Braunfels, and the Texas Hill Country, they foster confidence, joy, and a sense of belonging. With seasonal recreational activities, competitive programs, and special events, Kinetic Kids inspires new possibilities for children with intellectual and physical challenges. Their reach now extends to Austin, Houston, Dallas, and Fort Worth, making a meaningful impact across Texas.

TBI Warrior Foundation

The TBI Warrior® Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of Veterans, civilians, and children living with brain injuries, as well as their caregivers. Founded on the values of hope, love, and selfless service, the foundation unites the community to create meaningful solutions for those impacted by brain injuries. Through education, community integration, and advancement programs, TBI Warrior® Foundation is making a difference for individuals and families in need across the Texas Hill Country and beyond.

VA Dogs of Texas

VA Dogs of Texas is a dedicated nonprofit providing highly trained service dogs to Veterans at no cost, empowering them to regain independence and confidence. Originally established in 2013, VA Dogs became an independent organization in 2017. Through partnerships with world-class trainers at Hill Country Dog Center near Bandera, TX—many of whom are Veterans themselves—the organization ensures top-notch care and training. Despite no support from the Veterans Administration, VA Dogs strives to assist 16 Veterans annually, relying on community funding to make this mission possible. Supporting VA Dogs helps change lives for local heroes in Kerrville, Bandera, and across the Texas Hill Country.

Our Grant Recipient

We proudly awarded VA Dogs of Texas a $20,500 grant, recognizing their profound impact on Boerne and the surrounding area.

As always, a huge thank you to Melissa Ashley Photography for donating your time and talent to capture our event. Also, thank you to Fair Oaks Ranch Golf and Country Club for providing such a beautiful setting for our event!
