Accolades
Boerne ISD has an outstanding graduation rate of 100% and exceptionally high marks for math and reading. The district is also commended for its fiscal position, with spending per student outpacing state levels.
In 2020, H-E-B announced that Boerne ISD took home top honors for best small school district in Texas. What an honor! The district is also one of the fastest-growing in Texas (2019 Demographic Study). With more than 1,000 faculty and staff, BISD continues to grow each year. Boerne ISD is the largest employer in the community and was even recognized as a top workplace in 2020 by the San Antonio Express-News.
Points of pride for the district include receiving two consecutive TEA “A” Ratings. As well as the board being selected Best in the Region. BISD was also named to the AP District Honor Roll by the U.S. College Board. In addition, they received a Best Communities for Music Education designation.
In October 2020, the district announced that both Boerne and Champion High Schools are ranked in the Top 25 Best Public High Schools in the San Antonio area for 2020-21 by Niche. Champion was ranked #7 and received an A grade, while Boerne rated #9 and also received an A.
